The lodge has58 en-suite Studios & 2 Executive Suites, Individual patios overlooking Lake Ihema, Each room with twin beds and satellite TV, swimming pool, Guided game drives, guided walking trails, Conference facilities, Bird watching, Fishing expeditions (on request), Tennis courts and Restaurant & Bar.
The best time to visit the park is during the dry period from November to January when most grass is short and hard, the way herbivores such as zebras and antelopes like it because it is tasty and they can see predators like lions from far. This also makes it easier for human visitors to see lions. And game drives in Akagera National Park are usually leisurely and fruitful, unlike the sometimes frenzied efforts to spot game in places like Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Facilities include a restaurant, bar, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a conference room, and business facilities.
