Nyungwe Forest Lodge is built to blend in with the surrounding environment and is situated in a tea plantation on the edge of the Nyungwe closed canopy rain forest, home to 13 species of primate including Chimpanzees.

Children under the age of fifteen (15) are not permitted to trek Chimpanzees, but are able to see the other primates and wonders of the forest.
